Pixie Dress

This design explores narrative in clothing, allowing the wearer to create their own story and sense of character from the clothing they wear. The design incorporates Penelope the Pink Haired Pixie Postman and her friends.

The design has an emphasis on writing and receiving post, to encourage children to engage in a physical form of communication and practice writing skills.

To match the dress and Penelope’s eccentric character I created three different matching silk scarves.
